Researched the needs of specific patient and customer types and created an effective go-to-market strategy.

SDN was joined by medical student Grace Shadid and Dr. Naureen Kabani, Rheumatologist, from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, to learn about the SUNY Downstate Patient Navigator Program and how it’s benefitting both patients and medical students. Created in partnership with The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson in response to health inequities faced by patients of color with psoriatic disease, the Patient Navigator Program gives students hands-on experience with at-risk patients, allowing them to further develop their culturally competent care skills to be better educated and more inclusive physicians in the future.
